Practicing law in Michigan for the past 20 years, Mr. Anderson has spent the majority of his practice focusing on criminal law, in addition to family law matters, as well as business law.
 
Mr. Anderson is often appointed by the Dickinson County Probate court as a Lawyer or Guardian ad litem to represent children who have experienced neglect and abuse. He appreciates the great responsibility and considers it a wonderful honor to help the children and ensure that their health and safety are protected throughout the judicial process.
 
Throughout his career as an assistant prosecutor and an attorney in private practice, Daniel F Anderson has earned the respect of the local law agencies and has established good relationships with the local legal community. With experience in defending high-profile cases in Dickinson County, as well as the Upper Peninsula area, Mr. Anderson holds firm to the belief that his courtroom experience and dedication distinguish him from other candidates.
 
As a resident of Iron Mountain, Mr. Anderson graduated from the University of Michigan (B.A. in Political Science and Sociology / Psychology) and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. As a student in law school, Mr. Anderson was one of the first students to successfully prosecute a criminal defendant through a jury trial, obtaining a guilty verdict in Dickinson County.
 
Mr. Anderson is the past president and current member of the Dickinson-Iron County Bar Association, a member of the Michigan Bar Association, and also formerly held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Community Federal Credit Union.
